It is with great joy that I introduce my new series, Skin Deep, a collection of original pieces which look at the contrast between inner and outer beauty.
The emphasis that social media, in particular, has placed on outer beauty moved me to create a series of works which speaks to the value of the opposite.
Inner beauty is incredibly undervalued in our society. You don’t actually need to look like everyone else, you don’t need the likes on social media, and you don’t need to suppress who you are to be happy. You just need to fall in love with you.
These pieces were created to serve as a reminder of how wonderful you are, and how much value you have to offer 🖤.
